Designing the Perfect Kids Room

A room designed for kids is highly dependent on firstly the age of your kid and secondly how often you would like to change up the said room. This is extremely important to ensure that the environment in which your kid is present is supportive of his growth.

Your kids’ room should be designed to support the baby’s growth, such as the presence of a wallpaper with cartoons and has a story to it. At this stage of your kids’ life, it’s extremely important to keep them away from harmful chemicals so we would highly recommend avoiding paint in the room and going for wallpaper which is safe for the baby. Also, it is important to ensure that they have a secure sleep, so curtains are highly recommended. Science has proven that a major part of your child’s growth happens when the kid is sleeping. Talking about the flooring, where carpets provide safety from cuts and sores when your child is learning to walk or just playing with you in the room and falls on the other end they are a nightmare to keep clean and germ free.

Selecting the wallpaper is really important as this would not only give your kids a creative spark, but also prevent the room from looking boring and mundane. We highly recommend using wallpaper on all four walls, with one of the walls as a display wall, which is preferably behind the bed to make the room look chic and modern. Also if your kid is a bit older then the Modern Wallpaper Collection can also bring life to the room and make the room look amazing. On the other 3 walls a simple textured wallpaper that goes with the color of the focal wall is good but not taking something white is recommended as it gets dirty quickly. Also, if you want to change and re-design your kid’s wallpaper often then you can go with Peel and Stick Wallpaper which is Easily Removable comes highly recommended from many parents.
