Use Custom Wallpaper to De-stress Your Life

It was not too long ago that I used to look at wallpaper as a simple tool of beautifying interiors. You wish to break monotony in a room, the walls are looking blank or the room is of a very large size and the interiors are not giving the right connect – simple solution – use Wallpaper For Walls.

In fact, I used this strategy so many times but was not able to identify any other reason for application of a wall covering. It was not until I discovered the world of CustomWall Murals and Custom Wallpaper.

Ever since I started using Custom Wallpaper and Custom Wallcoverings, there has not been a single interior design project, be it a home or a office where I have not found utility for these beautiful works of art. And with a strong reason too.

Different designs and visuals in Custom Wallpaper and custom photo murals can be used not only to improve the interiors but provide a solution to the different needs or requirements. Here I would like to discuss in brief the role of different kinds of design concepts.

Religious Wallpaper: In a meditation room or a prayer room or in a private study, Religious Wallpaper for Walls can be used not only to create an accent wall but it can create the right kind of aura in the environment for meditation and preying. It is a proven fact that when you use a visual the connect is much more stronger then simply thinking and preying.

Buddha Wallpaper or Zen Wallpaper: Buddha today is considered as a harbinger of peace and prosperity and the popularity of Buddha murals, artefacts, paintings is at its peak. You can feel peace and happiness simply looking at a Buddha Wallpaper, use it in living room or in your personal bedroom.

Cityscape Wallpaper: For someone who is nostalgic about his place of birth or education or for someone who loves one particular city, there is no need for any reason to install Cityscape Wallpaper. My personal favourite is New York City Wallpaper which adorns my living room.

Landscape Wallpaper: There can be no greater joy in installation of a wallpaper if you are using a picture you have shot personally on your holidays and get it converted into a Custom Wallpaper. If you are not equipped with a high end digital camera, then using one of the professionally shot images of a landscape you have visited is also a great reminiscent of the beautiful journey undertaken.

I am going to continue this blog tomorrow with some of the whackiest reasons to use a custom wallpaper.

How To Design Interiors if You Have An Extrovert Personality

It has been scientifically proven that your personality type gets reflected in your choice of interiors. The choice of colors, lightings, layout, furniture and the overall design aesthetics are a reflection of your personality type.

If unfortunately, for any reason you have an interior decor which is not in harmony with your general personality traits then this may disturb your peace of mind. It may disturb you to such a great extent that you start under performing in work and social life. It can result in increased anxiety, restlessness and stress.

In this post we are going to delve into the extrovert personality.

As an extrovert you love to socialize and are energized when in the circle of friends or when you are in a social get together. People are attracted to you and you love having people around you.

What you require is a perfect place to socialize, entertain guests and at the same time a decor which impresses people.

Interior Layout : The layout of your ideal living place has to be spacious, modern keeping pace with the times and the decor has to be the one in trend. The style of decor will vary with the area you live in.

For ex: For a modern apartment in Manhattan you would seek a contemporary or modern layout with gloss or sleek finish to the whole layout. And if you are living in a big ranch in Texas, you would seek a classical traditional style of layout and furniture.

Lighting: You would seek bright wall lamps, chandeliers and also LED and mood lights to set the mood for the party. You would be attracted to a design where you can set the mood of the gathering by controlling the lights. Bright and dazzling at one time and subtle and diffused low lights at another time.

Colors: As an extrovert bright and warm colors attract you. Bright red, orange, yellow and bright green are all your shades. Infact it is not possible to paint all your walls in these bright colors or pick upholstery in these colors. But you should always plan to have a touch of these colors in your interiors.

Furniture:  The furniture in the living room should have a flexible layout, with the option to move around to create space, if required. At the same time there should be flexibility to increase the sittings or create small sit out areas to accommodate different smaller groups in the framework of a large gathering.

As far as the concept of adding a splash of vibrant colors in the interior decor is concerned, Wallpaper for Walls and Custom Wallpaper in particular can satisfy this need. Customized Wallpaper and Custom Wall Mural offers great flexibility in the selection of the design.

You can create one accent wall or a highlight area using Custom Wallpaper while keeping the tone soft on all the other walls. Cushions and rugs can be thrown in which match with color of the mural to create a perfect interior.

Custom Wallpaper is available in all the segments you can think of. Whether you require a Textured Wallpaper, Modern Wallpaper or a Religious Wallpaper, with easy Peel and Stick Wallpaper option, Walls and Murals offers a huge collection of more than 3000 designs to choose from.

Choosing a bright color for home decor.

People often feel stuck to choose monochrome colors for their home decor, such as Brown, Black, Beige, etc. This is because choosing a bright color not only means difficulty with furniture selection, but also maintenance is often difficult with brighter colors. However, there are ways of setting up your decor so that you don’t have to worry about neither furniture selection, nor the maintenance.

The solution is setting up your colors so that the brighter color stays in the background. Especially when designing a complete room, you can design a specific wall which is brighter by using a Custom Wall Mural or a Custom Wallpaper and putting darker furniture in front on it. Creating a contrast allows you to incorporate bright colors without worrying for furniture or about it getting dirty. Contrasts such as green and brown, white and black and red and black are classics that will look great in any space.

You could also compliment this bright and dark setting with bright cushions and rugs that will make everything gel together. Another option could be reversing the order of bright furniture since there are a lot of options that will not stain as much. Sure, it will not be as easy to maintain as the darker options but bright furniture looks super chic and fashionable. It is a load worth bearing for the style and praise.

Some of the options that will look great in such combinations are Black and WhiteWallpaper for home, 3D Wallpaper forWalls, Hand Painted or Fine Art Wallpaperfor Walls. For more decor advice log onto www.wallsandmurals.com. You can also e-mail us at info@wallsandmurals.com.
