Help your kids get their dream bedroom

Often we have a disagreement with our kids when it comes to decoration of their rooms because of different interests. However, we have to understand that imposing our will on our kids’ room is useless and it only discourages our kids from being more creative, we can actually take this opportunity to create an activity that engages their interests and enhances their imagination. So here is how you can keep a balance of reality and imagination to create the perfect kidsroom decor:

1.       Choose Images that your kids like

Play with the images of things your kids love, it maybe their favorite soccer team or their favorite cartoon. Take an image and get it blown up to the size of a complete wall, so that they can enjoy it to the maximum. The image does not need to be of something particular but it just needs to coincide with their interests. You can also show them a huge collection of kids wallpaper on our website and continue from there, for example: Polka Dot wallpaper, Fairy Wallpaper, Butterfly wallpaper. Peel and stick wallpaper is one of the easiest to install options available on custom wallpaper online store.

2.       Use their favorite colors

Kids love colors and every kid has a favorite color. Have you ever heard them make friends, the second question they ask each other is their favorite colors? Sometimes, these colors are impractical and cannot be used on the wall or furniture. The place to use such colors are bedsheets and quilts that feature these colors.

3.       Use their name

Kids love themselves and are obsessed with their name, they write their names everywhere from the walls to on their pens. So, you can give them that level of customization by getting them a personalized custom wallpaper or painting. A simple engraving on their toy box, can also be highly effective as it will bring them high joy.

You can give your kids the room of their dreams with the tips above and for everything else, there are more blogs on our website which will give you great ideas and tips on how to decorate your home.

You need to read this before you paint your house!

Paint has been the primary choice of people when deciding their wall decor, however there are hidden dangers of paint that are often ignored to which we wish to bring the light to.

1.   Paint, especially water based paint has been found to double the chances of asthma and allergies in kids. It was found that if pregnant women are exposed to such paint fumes, the child can develop disorders. The major reason of concern is that these compounds, even in minimal quantities can be harmful.
2. Not only kids, adults when exposed to paint fumes for long enough can experience headaches, dizziness and nausea.
3. Paint thinner, used with oil based paints is even more toxic since it can lead to vomiting and diarrhea.

The dangers and risks of paint are high, however, when we asked people as to why they keep using paint is the reason of price. Well we agree that paint is cheap, however the alternatives come in at a cost which is on the higher side. The argument we would like to put forth is the life of paint, which is much lower than almost all of the competitors. Since we have been manufacturers of wallpaper, we can talk about the average life of wallpaper which is at least twice of that of paint, even if the wallpaper was not hung well. “Safety is something that happens between your ears, not something you hold in your hands.”

We at wallsandmurals.com are dedicated on making homes safer and stylish with our exclusive range of wallpaper and wall decor products. We offer selection from over 1500+ exclusive designs with 3 material options with wallpaper categories like: Modern Wallpaper for Home, Black and White Wallpaper, Zen Wallpaper, Custom Wallpaper for home, World Map Wallpaper for Offices.

So do think before you put paint up on walls. Put a comment to tell us about your experience with paint . For more information, contact us on info@wallsandmurals.com.

We recently did a project for a training center for flight attendants, where we designed the reception in an airplane theme. This created an excellent environment and brought a lot of interest to their training school. We ourselves were surprised at the response that we got after the projected was completed. This was the reaction from a few of the employees at the establishment.

“This room has become a center of attraction, everywhere we use this image to promote ourselves and are often asked if the room is real. The response has been unreal.” – M.D of Marketing

“At first I was optimistic as to how the room would turn out, but when it was finished I knew it would be a hit and from what I hear, my co-workers and the students love the room.” – Teacher at the center.
